Plan in advance

Learn a bit of the language. Being able to say ‘Hello’, ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ is helpful, along with ‘Do you speak English?’ Locals appreciate it when you make an effort with their language, and as a solo traveller you can socialise with the locals to your heart’s delight.

Have Fun

Last but not least, be confident and have fun. You’re sure to make some incredible memories and more than likely some new friends as well.
