Arrive to Bodrum, check into hotel and relax. Dinner included in the evening.
Day 2
Tuesday is market day in Yalikavak. The hotel chef will visit the local market to select fresh ingredients for the cookery demonstration. You’ll have the opportunity to watch as the chef prepares a variety of traditional dishes, explaining the ingredients, cooking methods, and flavours along the way.
As each dish is prepared, guests can enjoy tasting them as part of a relaxed lunch by the hotel’s poolside. We hope the demonstration will inspire you to recreate some delicious Turkish dishes at home.
This evening, dinner will be in Yalikavak at a local restaurant (payable locally).
Day 3
Today’s activity is a hands-on ceramics class, held in the hotel’s own pottery workshop. Guests will be divided into small groups of four for a two-hour session. During the class, the instructor will introduce the history and traditions of pottery in this region of Turkey, demonstrate basic techniques, and guide you through the first steps of creating your own piece. With time, patience, and attention to detail, you’ll see how simple materials can be transformed into beautiful works of art.
Dinner is included tonight at the hotel.
Day 4
Leisure Day
Spend the morning relaxing by the pool or take a leisurely walk to the nearby beach. In the afternoon, there’s an optional trip to Bodrum city centre, where you can enjoy a stroll, do some shopping, and have dinner by the marina (payable locally).
Day 5
Half day walk with picnic lunch – From the 4 Reasons Hotel, it’s approximately a one-hour walk to the Küdür Peninsula, following mainly paved lanes and short path sections. Along the way, you’ll pass rocky coves, historic Luwian rock features and small beaches suitable for swimming. Here we will stop for a picnic of local olives, bread, cheese, and figs. Circling the peninsula takes an additional 1.5 to 2 hours, offering sea-cliff views and clear shallow waters. The route is beginner to moderate in difficulty, with mostly easy terrain and some short rocky sections. You can return to the hotel on foot or arrange a taxi for the journey back.
Dinner tonight is included at the hotel.
Day 6
Departing from Yalikavak Harbour, enjoy a leisurely day cruise along the coast and around the small bays of the area. Lunch is served onboard, and there will be opportunities for swimming. This cruise allows you to explore parts of the Turkish coastline that are not accessible by road.
