Our popular Easter event returns for 2026, this time in the Midlands! Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of great food, company, and music. Rooms will be ready from 3pm onwards but guests can arrive at their leisure.

Double Tree by Hilton Hotel

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Coventry, located on Paradise Way, offers a comfortable stay with modern amenities. Conveniently situated near the M6, M69, and A45, it provides easy road access to Coventry, Birmingham, and Leicester. Coventry Railway Station is just a short drive away, offering direct trains to Birmingham and London.

The hotel features stylish rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and an an on-site restaurant.

Our 3 night package includes 2 half-day excursions and our 2 night package includes 1 half-day excursion (details below).

Pets are welcome in selected rooms. If you plan to stay with your well-behaved dog, please inform us in advance and make a reservation. A cost per dog is £25.

Upgrade to a superior room which includes a later checkout, tea/coffee machine, 2 bottles of water, bath robe and slippers for an extra £25 per night.

Pre-departure

Itinerary

Good Friday, 3rd April

Arrive from 3pm onwards before gathering in the bar with your hosts for a pre-dinner mingle, then dinner with half bottle of wine per person included tonight.

Saturday

Breakfast and then explore the historic town of Stratford Upon Avon, including a visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace, The Royal Shakepeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church (a half-day excursion with entrance and transport included).

This evening’s dinner is an opportunity to dress up, but Black Tie is not required (Suits for gents and dresses for ladies). After a delicious dinner with wine (half bottle per person) there’s a disco until late.

Easter Sunday

Breakfast, then depart with your host for a half day trip to nearby Warwick and Castle (entrance and transport included). Here you can visit The Great Hall, staterooms and stroll through the peacock garden.

Dinner tonight is a sociable meal with wine (half a bottle per person.

Monday

Breakfast this morning is the last meal included in our package, but you don’t have to rush off even if you need to vacate your room.

All dietary requests given in advance will be catered for.

Location

Our chosen hotel is located on Paradise Way, near Junction 2 of the M6, making it easily accessible by car. The hotel offers on-site parking for guests, free of charge for Friendship Travel guests, including 10 EV charging points. It is conveniently situated for travel to Coventry city centre, Birmingham, and the NEC. The nearest railway station is Coventry Railway Station, approximately 5 miles away, providing direct links to London, Birmingham, and other major cities. Alternatively, Bedworth and Nuneaton stations are also within a short drive. Public transport and taxi services are available for easy access to and from the hotel and surrounding areas.
