Hotel Alay
The 4* adults only Hotel Alay is located just 50 meters from the beach and in front of the beautiful Benalmadena promenade. It is a short 15 minute drive/train from Malaga and is perfectly located to explore the surrounding areas.
We’ve opted for half board; dinner with water and 1 glass of wine or beer every evening. Plus, at Christmas a Gala Meal is included.

Itinerary
Day 1
Meet your Host on arrival and settle into the Hotel Alay (All flights must arrive between 9.00 and 18.00).
Day 2
An early start for a private Friendship Travel full day trip to Gibraltar for sightseeing on the Rock. This will be escorted by an English speaking guide with the opportinity to visit the Tunnels, St Michael’s Cave and Moorish Castle. There will also be time to browse the shops of Casement Square and Main Street.
Day 3
At leisure: maybe hire a bike from the hotel, go 10-pin bowling or visit the Arabian baths. At Christmas we’ll enjoy a festive gala meal (buffet) then head into Malaga to see the Christmas lights.
Day 4
Our hop-on-hop-off bus tour lets you discover as many of Malaga’s 19 stops as you wish! There’s an audio commentary and option to join a guided walking tour.
Day 5
At leisure: Maybe enjoy a beach day, a leisurely walk along the seafront, or visit some local sights.
Day 6
Fly home – or stay for 7 nights to discover more in Malaga, with 20 art collections and museums including Picasso’s birthplace. Ancient churches, a hilltop fortress, a Crocodile zoo and Sea Life centre are all within easy reach.
Day 7
Free day – plan a shopping trip with lunch in the Plaza Mayor complex or walk on the beach before chocolate and churros in a seafront café.
Day 8
We transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
