Chalet Alexandre and Chalet Chartreuse

Set high in the picturesque Dauphine region, it’s a lively and colourful resort. There’s a vast ski area – over 200kms of pistes – an impressive snow record and an above-average amount of sunshine. Every type of skier and boarder will be happy here: beginners have plenty of choice, with spacious nursery slopes at village level and lots of easy runs on the Glacier du Mont de Lans.

Our board basis is half board with dinner included on 5 nights. Breakfast is buffet style and will include bread, jam, cereals, yoghurts, patisseries and one hot egg option each day. An afternoon tea of freshly baked biscuits or cake will be waiting for you when you get back from the slopes and then you can relax until dinner time. Dinner is 3 courses including 1⁄2 bottle of wine and finishing with coffee.

Our chalet staff have two well deserved full days off each week and this gives an opportunity for you to try the local restaurants and our in resort team will be more than happy to book a table somewhere for you. On the hosts full day off breakfast and afternoon tea will be left for you.

5 lessons are included in our package. These are 2 hour lessons from Monday – Friday and are with European Ski School. Your ski/lift pass can also be booked with Friendship Travel.

Equipment rental and storage at the base of the slopes, adjacent to the ski school, can be booked here at an extremely competive price.

The Alexandre is a bit like the resort it’s in; a great all-rounder. It’s quaint and cosy with the rustic styling you’d expect from a typical French Chalet, with 7 ensuite bedrooms.

Chalet Chartreuse is the larger of the two and offers a beautiful communal area and 9 ensuite bedrooms.

To help ease aching muscles, there is a sauna in Chalet Alexandre and a hot tub in Chalet Chartreuse, which can both be used by all guests. Dinner will be served every evening in Chalet Chartreuse.

The bedrooms are all different shapes and sizes with single, double or bunk beds and all bedrooms have their own key. They are tastefully decorated and have plenty of storage. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and hairdryers are available to borrow from the host.

How does a ‘Twin Share’ room work?

We offer a room as a Twin Share basis to increase the total number of guests in the Chalet and also to offer some reduced prices spaces for guests to join. The room is allocated to one sex or the other, depending who books first, they are all non smoking (as is all the chalet), and both guests have their own space and storage in the room. On a ski holiday you spend very little time in your room, therefore a Twin Share option is a great way to save money – use the saving to pay for your lift pass.
