We are delighted to return to this popular venue for Christmas 2026, offering a fun and stress-free festive break at DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry. Only 1 hour by train from London Euston to Coventry train station.
Rooms will be ready from 3pm onwards, although guests are welcome to arrive and begin enjoying their stay at their leisure.
Double Tree by Hilton Hotel
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Coventry, located on Paradise Way, offers a comfortable stay with modern amenities. Conveniently located near the M6, M69, and A45, the property offers excellent road connections to Coventry, Birmingham, and Leicester. Coventry Railway Station is just a short drive away, with direct services to Birmingham and London. Birmingham Airport can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car, and taxis or Uber rides to the hotel are easily available for under £50.
The hotel features stylish rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and an an on-site restaurant.

Itinerary
Christmas Eve
Arrive in time for tea, coffee, Christmas cake and mince pies served between 3 and 4pm, then later we will all meet for a 3-course buffet dinner (with half bottle of wine) and disco. Dress code is smart casual.
Christmas Day
Start your Christmas Day with a leisurely breakfast before heading out for a refreshing winter walk to Wyken Croft Nature Park. The scenic 1¾-mile stroll from the hotel offers the perfect chance to enjoy some crisp festive air. Once there, take your time exploring the peaceful surroundings and natural beauty at your own pace. Afterwards, wander back to the hotel feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy your Christmas Day lunch.
Boxing Day
On 26 December, enjoy a relaxed start to your day with breakfast before choosing how you’d like to spend your morning. You can join your host for a fun outing to Ten Pin Coventry for a game of bowling, or sit back and enjoy the latest film at Showcase Cinema Coventry—both just a short 5-minute walk from the hotel (activities payable locally).
Alternatively, take a scenic drive to Coombe Abbey Country Park and explore its beautiful parkland at your own pace.
Return to the hotel in good time to prepare for a special evening, featuring a three-course choice gala dinner, DJ entertainment, and half a bottle of wine per person to celebrate Boxing Day in style – dress code is smart.

Our chosen hotel is located on Paradise Way, near Junction 2 of the M6, making it easily accessible by car / train or bus to Coventry City. Our guests in 2025 loved the location and facilities closeby.
The hotel offers on-site parking for guests, free of charge for Friendship Travel guests, including 10 EV charging points. It is conveniently situated for travel to Coventry city centre, Birmingham, and the NEC. The nearest railway station is Coventry Railway Station, approximately 5 miles away, providing direct links to London, Birmingham, and other major cities. Alternatively, Bedworth and Nuneaton stations are also within a short drive. Public transport and taxi services are available for easy access to and from the hotel and surrounding areas.
All within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the hotel are a variety of shops, ten-pin bowling, a cinema, coffee shops, walks and much more. A perfect location for Christmas.
